Ortophoto
The digital orthophoto is an evolution of the method of representation of the territory and has become an integrative tool useful for its planning and management, for these reasons it becomes an indispensable basic tool for territorial information systems.
It is a mosaic of digital aerial photographs inserted in a specific system of reference and orthorectified through the projection on the DTM (Digital Terrain Model) that resolves the distortion of the image. In this way we obtain an overlap with digital numerical cartography, within the foreseen geometric tolerances.
The detail scale is defined by the size of the pixel on the ground that varies according to the specific survey needs but can reach high detail scales such as 5 GSDs for planning in historical centers.
The export formats are as follows: GeoTIFF or TIFF & TFW, 8/16 bit, RGB / CIR / RGBI
It is also possible to export the original images with orthorectified seamlines, always in the formats mentioned above.
This product represents a useful tool for monitoring the territory, to study its evolution, to assess the possibility of any interventions to be carried out and to observe the evolution of the coastline, the planimetric measurements that are taken on the orthophotos correspond to the actual real planimetric measurements.
